Indie Retro News – Time for some big ZX Spectrum news as

Time for some big ZX Spectrum news, as we just learned via Facebook that Jordi has released a remastered version of “their” ZX Spectrum game “Misifu Remeow,” a game previously released as part of the ZX-DEV MIA remake contest as a demo of the classic “Cat Alley” game. For those who have never heard of this game: the original was released in 1983 on Atari 8bit and 1984 on MS-DOS by Bill Williams and published by Synapse Software. It gives you control of Freddie the cat, who must face the challenge of rescuing his feline love Felicia. This is “Remeow,” a remake of Misifu on ZXDev’19, in which not only have the graphics by world-renowned artist “Jarlaxe” been improved, but all of the game’s scenarios have been reworked. For those who haven’t followed our reviews, this game is actually a port of Destr to ZX Spectrum from some time ago, keeping as much of the original gameplay of the game as possible. Now it has: better collisions, better and more optimized code, richer graphics, and you’ll notice that there are two versions: a CGA-PC Alley Cat homage and another with ZX Speccy COLOR.
