Teaching critical thinking involves developing activities and strategies that are part of your curriculum and your students’ usual approach to problem solving. Students should have opportunities to practice transferring their critical thinking skills to other contexts. Critical thinking is a complex process in which students think about, analyze, and evaluate ideas. Adapting students to this type of task will help improve not only their language and emotional skills, but also their critical thinking skills.
