In fact, Hispanics are now the largest ethnic group in the most populous U.S. state, with about 15.5 million people. It’s time to recognize the many contributions Hispanics have made to the culture and history of the country. There are many good resources to help you participate in National Hispanic Heritage Month. The significant increase in the Hispanic population is largely due to newborns, as immigration has declined over the past decade.
