I’ve been a lifelong video game fan and have been running my own arcade, The Game Grid Arcade, in West Valley City, Utah since 2008. The first VRAgent was tested in the UK, where it makes sense that Sega would test it, and a double version of Bust-A-Move & Space Invaders Frenzy was recently spotted in Illinois. However, the IAAPA show is just around the corner, so there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing about new games soon, though I don’t expect a lot of high-profile reveals as usual this month and next. I also discuss the planned but never released Star Trek game for Small Arms, and then spend a lot of time talking about how I hate talking positively about Moon Patrol and Intellivision Amico. Games released in 2021 are growing little by little, as is the exA Arcadia library, as the eccentric Cosmic Digger 3671 is already shipping and available for exA systems worldwide. We have news for you about video site testing: there have been some interesting contributions lately. Another plus for exA 4 unit system operators is that the kit costs less than $900, making it an affordable purchase. I played this game at the Amusement Expo a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It is a bit of an improvement over the CAX2018 version, especially in terms of speed. I realize this game isn’t for everyone, but if you see it and have friends with you, you should give it a try. I’m doing 2fer this time because otherwise the posts would be quite short.
