It’s been a while since I’ve seen an update for that

It’s been a while since I’ve seen an update for that vertical scroller they released in development for Neo Geo MVS and AES, but I may have missed the last time they released something. I’ve been following Intellivision Amico development since it was announced a long time ago, and some arcade remakes have piqued my interest. The new products we’ve discussed on the blog, including Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade, Jet Blaster and Skill Shooter, have been the focus, but as far as I can tell, they’ve also improved on the concepts of reality and simulation. I’ve been a lifelong video game fan and have been running my own arcade, The Game Grid Arcade, in West Valley City, Utah since 2008. I hope the arcade scene gets back to where it was this summer, although it’s hard to say what to expect given the current problems. Of course, there are plenty of arcade games that fit perfectly with the month’s theme, and in honor of that, I’ve posted a full image of Sega’s House of Death from Scarlet Dawn. This is a bad sign for the Japanese arcade industry, which has been hit a little harder by the pandemic than the American side. Although I wasn’t scheduled to attend the event, I was still able to try out Moon Patrol, but as I discovered afterward, there seems to be a lot of love or hate for this system. IAAPA Expo Europe 2021 was held this week in Barcelona, and I heard mixed reviews about it. I paid almost no attention to what was going on behind the scenes; I just wanted to share my thoughts on what I experienced. There was an event near my house yesterday at which Amico performed several games. I have no nostalgic attachment to the brand because I never owned an INTV as a kid and didn’t know anyone who did, but I did have several games developed by INTV on the Atari 2600.
