Of course, not everything is dedicated to arcade games, as other attractions, such as “The World’s Biggest Crane Game,” also take up space, but there is a wide variety of games, from classics such as A. P. B. BattleZone, Centipede, Joust, Mario Bros. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and Star Wars from Atari, as well as many modern games such as Dead Heat, Halo: Fireteam Raven SDX, House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn, Initial D3, Luigi’s Mansion Arcade, Nerf Arcade, Space Invaders Frenzy, Super Bikes 2, World’s Largest Pac-man and many more, for a total of “hundreds more games. ” The official website can be found here. There’s no complete list of games for the arcade department, but looking at some pictures, you can tell that there are plenty of modern games like ATV Slam, Dark Escape 4D, Daytona Championship USA, House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn, Jurassic Park Arcade, TMNT 2018, Super Bikes 3 and more, including a large repeater and crane department. These places are more focused on classics than novelties these days, though you can always find Mario Kart Arcade GP or the latest version of Golden Tee there. I’ve been a lifelong video game fan and have been running my own arcade, The Game Grid Arcade, in West Valley City, Utah since 2008. Xavier from Arcade Belgium shared the news about this strange place that decided to build its own game cabinets for everything arcades. Anyway, it’s in the Netherlands, so I’m assuming this is the new arcade that opened at the new Landal GP station in that country. Welcome to Location Watch, a series of posts about new arcade openings around the world. While there are mostly large and medium sized rides such as karting and laser games, there is also an arcade. It seems that building huge facilities is the name of the game, as we see with the new arcade across the country. Toby Nuckhorn, reader and author of the site, will also be hosting D tournaments. I assume there will be many official tournaments for other games as well. I’m not 100% sure of the exact location of this new site, as Landal GreenParks seems to be a maker of parks and resorts with different locations depending on their attractions.
