Arcade Heroes IAAPA – NOTE: I’ve recorded a lot of videos

NOTE: I’ve recorded a lot of videos about the program, but it’s a lot, and writing it all takes time too, so I can’t wait to edit and read all the videos together before writing about it. I heard about a mysterious camping project at Raw Thrills some time ago, and although they didn’t bring the car to the show, they had fun with the banner and the video clip from the trailer. Of the three games they played at the helm, two were played all the time, almost continuously: GunArena and Space Invaders Strike Back. I’d never heard of “Happy Fun”, and of course I didn’t expect to find the only video game, Super Firing, at their booth. I’d forget to mention what was going on throughout the show: a stunning tournament. The space invaders’ counteroffensive is a unique version of the Space Invaders Frenzy concept, but they’ve made it clear that it’s still a prototype and will probably risk releasing it. GunArena is impressive – I see it as the most advanced axe cousin, but it needs work. The only place it wasn’t in the sound department, I mean it’s fair, but there’s a lot of the same “engine sound” and the same depth of tire crepitation as the others, and the music was less memorable.
