Not sure if it’s worth the upgrade if you already have the game, but I think you should buy this one if you want it now. Hamster, as always, has done its best to keep the game as close to the original as possible, so if you remember this game, you’ll probably enjoy a nostalgic romp. This is the first part of a trilogy, with fully conversational dialogue, lots of comic book characters, and all the dark humor you’d expect from Cyanide & Happiness. There’s just one catch: the price listed for the base game, and you definitely need DLC to finish the game. I don’t think this game can match the original trilogy, but it’s not far off. So what do you get with the extra subtitles? Apparently, the new mode is called Zone Contest, in which two or four players play a King of the Hill type game where everyone tries to control a central area. It’s another hidden-object adventure, very similar to Faircroft Antiquities, which was released last week. It’s a sort of puzzle game in which you mix ingredients together to make alchemy, with decent 3D graphics. Probably not as good as any of these games, but it’s a decent game, I think. You have to prioritize to get anything that adds an element of strategy to an otherwise hectic and reactive game. As such, it is best considered a sixty dollar game.
